Cisco Unity Connection 8.6 Integration with Ericsson PBX

There are three integrations 

Solution – 1 PIMG

• PIMG has 8 ports to communicate with VM system.
• The serial data port on the phone system connected to the serial port on the PIMG unit through an RS-232 serial cable
• All MWI requests are handled by the PIMG unit and sent to the phone system over the RS-232 serial cable

 Solution – 2 TIMG

• TIMG has 24 ports to communicate with VM system
• T1 CAS connections to the TIMG units by using the FXS/FSO or E&M protocol.
• The serial data port on the phone system connected to the serial port on the TIMG unit with an RS-232 serial cable

  Solution – 3 Using VGW

• The QSIG-enabled phone system connected to the Cisco ISR voice gateway
• Cisco IOS version 12.4(11)T or later.
• This integration uses a Cisco ISR voice gateway and a LAN or WAN to connect Cisco Unity Connection and a QSIG-enabled phone system. The Cisco ISR voice gateway converts the QSIG communications to SIP
