SRST and MGCP Fallback

You could use below command to test SRTS , this would block communication with CUCM and Gateway

ip route 255.255.255.255 Null0

show ccm-manager – enter this command and check MGCP Fallback

Switchback mode: Graceful

MGCP Fallback mode: Enabled/OFF

During SRST mode you could enter show ephone summary and check the registered srst phones

show call-manager-fallback all - to verify SRST settings and version details

Voice mail MWI issue

Users Extensions configured as E.164 numbering plan and users were not getting MWI when they receive new voice mail.




Multiple Tenant MWI Modes - This Should be true on CUCM service parameter to support E.164

Checked logs and found following and found 80004005 - this means Access Denied

Checked Partition and CSS and found MWI ON/OFF CSS not  added on translation pattern partition (Translation pattern - for E.164 to 4 digit number)

CUEAC Queue waiting message

We cannot apply waiting message on EAC server, what we could do is that, record a waiting message

and convert wav file to CCITT u-Law format and upload new wav file to CUCM as Music On Hold Server Audio Sources

I had some issue with CUE after reload of CME router and when I enter service-module ISM 0/0 status I got following

Service Module is waiting for registration message

Service Module heartbeat-reset is enabled

Service Module is in fail open

Service Module status is not available

No install/uninstall in progress
